Picturesque Israel
Here at Galilee Calendars, we feature gifted Jewish artists and their art in our calendars. The calendar “Picturesque Israel” features the works of Connie Kind Shishkoff. She is a Messianic Jewish artist born in 1947 who grew up in a Jewish family in Philadelphia. She later immigrated to Israel with her family. Picturesque Israel is a 16-month Jewish art calendar featuring her beautiful paintings of picturesque scenes of Israel. Picturesque Israel art calendar covers September 2019 through December 2020. The Holy Land
Another one of our featured biblical calendars is “The Holy Land” featuring sketches of scenic views of Israel. Beautiful paintings in this calendar are the works of David Roberts, a Scotsman and prominent Orientalist painter. He’s known for his prolific series of detailed prints of Egypt and the Near East. The calendar features sketches of scenes the artist saw while touring the historical region of Israel. The Holy Land is also a 16-month biblical calendar, from September 2019 through December 2020.
